Marine Industry Action Agenda
In 2003, in collaboration with other sectors of the Marine Industry, the AMIF made a successful submission to the Federal Government to be included on the Marine Industry Action Agenda. The Action Agenda is a partnership between industry and Government working together to improve the competitiveness of the Australian marine industry.
The Action Agenda report, New Horizons, contains 22 recommendations focussed on the five themes of:
* Skills and training
* Market development
* Innovation
* Regulation and environment and
* Industry leadership.
